When a heart stops, the clock starts. For young athletes, sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death during sports. In those critical moments, minutes aren't just time, they are the difference between a tragedy and a recovery.

At Legacy Engineering, we build the infrastructure that helps our community grow, but today, we’re investing in the people who make it thrive. We are proud to have provided funding to place a life-saving Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at Stafford Soccer through the Gwyneth’s Gift Foundation.

While more than 350,000 people suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital each year, immediate access to an AED can triple the chance of survival. This investment isn't just about equipment; it’s about providing peace of mind to the thousands of families, coaches, and players who call these fields home.

Gwyneth’s Gift has already helped save 13 lives across Virginia and placed over 150 AEDs. By funding this latest placement, Legacy Engineering is helping to raise that number even higher. Our commitment extends beyond planning and engineering; we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in the safety and wellbeing of Stafford County. Together, we are building a heart-safe community where our athletes and their families can play with confidence.
