OCTOBER 2021-Our employee spotlight this month features Jessica Jones. Jessica graduated from Virginia Tech where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Systems Engineering. Jessica joined Legacy as an intern, and after eight short weeks was hired full-time as a Project Engineer in August 2021.
When asked about her career at Legacy, Jessica says that her primary role right now is learning – and she loves that. Her role evolves as she learns more and can take on more tasks independently. Jessica shares that she is “optimistic about Legacy’s growth as well as my own growth here.”
In her spare time Jessica is a big football fan and is currently doing very well in her fantasy football leagues. When it’s not football season, she enjoys reading, cooking, and tending to her plants.
When asked about the best piece of advice she has received, Jessica says “focus your energy and attention on the things that you can control.”
We are thankful Jessica joined our team and we look forward to her many successes in the future.
